Scheduled - There will be a Southern California Edison (SCE) planned power outage on SBCC’s West Cliff Campus from 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15 to 5 a.m. on Thursday, October 16. Due to this power outage, SBCC’s West Cliff Campus will close at 8:30 p.m. on October 15.

Update - Student Desktops are still available; however, the login time for the Student desktops may take longer than expected. Please be patient when logging into the Student Desktop.

Employees needing a remote VDI desktop should use the "Student Desktop" instead of the "Employee Desktop".

We are continuing to investigate this issue.

Investigating - We are currently investigating an outage of the SBCC-Guest wireless network at the Wake campus which is used by guests and visitors to the campus. Employees and enrolled students can access either the "SBCC" or "eduroam" networks at the Wake campus using their SBCC credentials, as those networks are still available. We will post an update when we have more information or have restored services.
